BAND MEMBERS ADAM PALCZEWSKI
Adam Palczewski is the leader of Babel Brass, professional jazz trumpet player and a music manager.
Adam is a versatile musician with an impressive background on the music scene. He graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied classical trumpet, as well as from the the legendary Jazz Department at Bednarska. He continued his musical education at the Paris Conservatoire in the masterclass of Guy Touvron. Later, he honed his skills through workshops with outstanding American jazz and orchestral trumpeters such as Terence Blanchard, Christopher Martin (New York Philharmonic), and Mark Ridenour (Chicago Symphony Orchestra).
He began his professional career at the age of 19 with a full-time position in the Polish Radio Orchestra. He has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as Sinfonia Varsovia and the National Philharmonic. He was also a member of the original lineup of the Radio Jazz Big Band at the legendary Akwarium club. Adam has performed numerous solo concerts across Europe with various philharmonic orchestras, featuring works for baroque trumpet.
For the past 20 years, he has lived in London, where he is actively involved in the local jazz and entertainment scene as a session musician. He has worked with many ensembles, including Hackney Colliery Brass Band, Mojo Big Band, Kix Big Band, John Ongom Big Band, Regent Brass and London Metropolitan Brass. Most recently, he recorded an EP with MOJO at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, Adam brings energy, precision, and a deep love for brass music to every note he plays.
